Description

Grupo Corpo arrives at Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro with a program that brings together two landmark moments in its trajectory. Created in 2025 to celebrate the company's 50 years, Piracema features choreography by Rodrigo Pederneiras and Cassi Abranches and music by Clarice Assad.

Alongside its most recent creation, Grupo Corpo brings back Lecuona, from 2004, returning to the stage after ten years off the repertoire. Two works from different eras that reveal distinct moments of the choreographic language developed by the company over five decades.
