Description
Cavalleria Rusticana (Rustic Chivalry) tells the story of Santuzza, dishonored and abandoned by Turiddu. After begging for the young man's love, Santuzza takes revenge by telling Alfio about the affair between his wife Lola and Turiddu. To "restore his honor," Alfio kills Turiddu in a duel.
