A very free version of Mayakovsky's well-known work. While the Russian author wrote it as a critique and parody of the new Stalinist Regime, we rewrite it as a critique and parody of "healthism"—that is, the current hypochondriac obsession with the aseptic body and its isomorphism. Workers who are accidentally frozen are resurrected in the future. But the future will not be made for them. A fast-paced and disconcerting play that, nevertheless, will leave you feeling great.
