Program Concert Maxim Vengerov & Franz Schubert

Universally acclaimed as one of the world's greatest musicians and often regarded as the greatest living string instrumentalist of today, Grammy Award-winner Maxim Vengerov also enjoys international recognition as a conductor and is one of the most sought-after soloists. Recent highlights include the opening season of the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala with Maestro Chailly, a residency with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic and the Philharmonie de Paris, and extensive recital tours around the world. Mr. Vengerov also celebrated 40 years on stage with a sold-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall and opened the Shanghai International Music Festival with Christoph Eschenbach.
