Description
Jazz by Candlelight transforms Liverpool's most beautiful venues into intimate Jazz Clubs, bathing the space in candlelight to provide the perfect backdrop for some sublime jazzy sounds. We seek out the best talent in the UK, who for this special edition will be playing a tribute to one of the most iconic partnerships in jazz: American jazz figurehead Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong and the Queen of Jazz herself, Ella Fitzgerald. The duo recorded multiple albums together and helped define, solidify and bring attention to the sound of old school jazz. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a history lesson on one of the most popular partnerships in the world of jazz.
