St George's Hall

St George’s Hall is a central Liverpool landmark and gathering place, set amid incomparable surroundings. Opposite Lime Street Station in St George’s Quarter, it’s one of the world’s finest neoclassical buildings. The structure measures 169 ft in length and 74 ft in width, with Europe’s largest tunnel-vaulted ceiling. Opened in 1854 for music festivals and the Civil and Crown courts, it has remained at the heart of city life.
