Description
On this edition, we have the honor of hosting the group Os Tapetes Contadores de Histórias (@tapetescontadores), pioneers in Brazil in producing textile settings for oral narratives. For 28 years, the tapestry makers have sewn carpets to tell tales from diverse origins, blending literature, craftsmanship, and the art of storytelling. The activity invites parents and their children to a bygone time when everything happened at the pace of the wind and birds. In this storytelling show, the following tales are narrated: “O Lobo que comia cenouras” and Plouf (French tale), and "The Magic Mirror," compiled by Luís da Câmara Cascudo in his "Contos Tradicionais do Brasil."
The activity is suitable for all ages and will be held on October 24 in two sessions: from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM; and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Online sales open on our site today, October 8, at 4:00 PM, with limited spots available. The purchase link will be made available in the stories, with prices of 40 reais for full price and 20 reais for half price. The activity is subject to venue capacity.
