The musical presentation "Peter and the Wolf" will be staged at Sala Mário Tavares, in collaboration with the Educational Department of the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro Foundation.
The classic "Peter and the Wolf" by Sergei Prokofiev transforms Sala Mário Tavares into a real musical laboratory. The Excelsius Orchestra brings this performance that uses symphonic storytelling as an educational and artistic tool, allowing the audience to recognize the instruments of the orchestra and their characters.
The event uses Sergei Prokofiev's masterpiece as an introduction to concert music, allowing children, young people, and other participants to get to know the instruments of the orchestra, their musical characters, and the narrative built through the symphonic language.
