The Brigham Young University (BYU) Symphony Band, from Provo, Utah (USA), brings together some of the most talented wind and percussion students from its School of Music. Under the direction of Maestro Shawn Smith, the group stands out for its artistic quality and diverse repertoire, presenting a program that celebrates the musical richness of the Americas, connecting different cultures through music. In recognition of its excellence, the band was selected as a special guest at the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE) conference, which will take place in Korea.
