Copper art has been a family affair for the Gilles for nearly a century, and this tradition has not gone unnoticed! The Conseil du patrimoine du Québec even recognized the family's talent in copper fabrication! This passion stems from Albert Gilles, the genius behind the copper doors at Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica. The five women in his family are now keeping this legacy alive. A visit to their boutique and museum will give you the chance to see their masterpieces. The Gilles have worked for Pope Pius XII and Walt Disney, and many of their works have gone on to decorate churches in North America.
