Tentative Program

• Mozart Divertimento KV136

  • A symphony condensed into a small divertimento that was meant to listen as a minor piece until Mozart decided to change the format.

• Beethoven String Quartet Nº4 Op.18

  • You will recognize a lot of Mozart's influence in this piece, by the time this quartet was played for the first time Beethoven wasn't 100% deaf and his own style wasn´t at his peak yet.

• Beethoven String Quartet Nº11 "Serioso" Op.95

  • This quartet is his last before his late string quartets. It is commonly referred to as the "Serioso," stemming from his title "Quartett[o] Serioso" at the beginning and the tempo designation for the third movement. In this piece, we notice instantly that we are in front of one a kind quartet, due to its intensity and richness of colors and dynamics, pure Beethoven´s style in real-time.
