Description
The "Japan-China International Animation Film Festival" aims to further develop animation as an art form through the exchange of globally acclaimed Japanese animation and Chinese animation, which has achieved remarkable progress in recent years through the utilization of AI technology.

The competition features a "Short Short Animation Category" open to everyone regardless of nationality, age, or professional status, and an "AI Animation Category" showcasing innovative expressions using AI. Visitors can view the nominated works, selected from approximately 400 global entries, on theaters and venue monitors.

The festival kicks off with a red carpet event on opening day and the 20th Anniversary Voice Actor Awards, followed by spectacular events such as the "Detective Pretty Cure! Show," live voice actor performances, and cosplay. It also offers family-friendly activities like the "AI Animation Making Experience for Everyone."

For industry professionals, the "Anime Conference in Tokorozawa" features seminars addressing copyright and the future of the anime business in the age of generative AI.
