Take a ride through Vila Nova de Gaia and get the best views over Oporto. Following along the river you will find on the other side of the river The Oporto Customs office ordered built in 1859, according to the project of the French architect Colson.

Ahead the great Arrábida Bridge which was built in 1963 and in its day was famous for the reinforced concrete arch that was larger than that of any other bridge in the world.

You Will also meet the typical Afurada Village, a quaint fishing village where the smell of grilled fish is an olfactory feast.

Discover also the fantastic scenery of the Douro Estuary, here the river embraces the Atlantic Ocean and the advantage of the wonderfull town beaches. 

If you prefer, cross the bridge to the other side and go as far as Matosinhos, another fisherman village, and indulge in a fantastic fish meal or ride through the historical Foz neighborhood.
