Your day trip will begin with a scenic 55-minute ride from Washington DC’s bustling Penn Quarter to Virginia’s cozy Bull Run region – site of the first major battle of the American Civil War. En route, you will traverse the beautiful George Washington Memorial Parkway with an elevated view of the Potomac River and Georgetown. Upon arrival, you will enjoy an optional walking tour of the Winery at Bull Run’s historic grounds before tasting the vineyards palatable selection of wines. Established in 2012 as a scenic working farm vineyard, The Winery at Bull Run lies on 225 acres adjacent to Manassas National Battlefield Park and next door to an equestrian farm.
