The Jazz Cafe celebrates the life and times of Gil Scott-Heron in the company of his former bandmates and friends. The Revolution Will Be Live is the critically acclaimed, festival-headlining show lovingly put together by Kim Jordan - Gil's musical director for over 30 years - and his protΓ©gΓ© Malik Al Nasir. Kim Jordan, who can be heard on many of Gil's albums, will be performing a set of his finest works with a full live band, and Washington DC vocalist Ka'Ba as Gil Malik & The OG's will open the show with a Gil-inspired spoken word set.
