The Jazz Café is preparing an unmissable show for fans of Afro-Cuban music! Pianist Alfredo Rodríguez helped found the Cuban music scene with roots in West Africa. Alfredo Rodríguez is a leader in the thriving Cuban music scene. The prodigiously talented pianist delivers a high-octane, warm, and joyous live affair that's unmissable for fans of Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz music. Iconic music producer/composer Quincy Jones heard Rodríguez during a performance at a European jazz festival and took him under his wing, eventually signing him to Jones' management company. Expect a mind-blowing mix of Rodriguez's forward-thinking take on Latin jazz, with heavy nods to the African traditions of Cuban music.
