As Unamuno said, the word of Saint John of the Cross became a flame, a flame that “continues to illuminate minds and warm hearts.” It is no coincidence that he was named a Doctor of the Church in 1926 and patron of Spanish-language poets in 1952. In this Walk through the Spiritual Garden of Saint John of the Cross, you will enter the convent church that the saint helped build with his own hands and where his remains now rest.
