Description
The guided tour of the Episcopal Palace of Segovia takes visitors into the history of what was once the residence of the bishops of Segovia and the pastoral center of the Diocese until the late 20th century. Through a tour of the exhibition halls and the noble rooms of this monumental Renaissance space, visitors can immerse themselves in the history of its various areas and the heritage it holds. A total of 180 works of art related to Catholic liturgy: magnificent pieces of goldsmithing, painting, and sculpture make the Episcopal Palace a reference in artistic, religious, and cultural terms. In the noble rooms, divided into seven spaces, visitors will see where the public and private life of the bishops of Segovia took place, including the Throne Room, their office, bedroom, and receiving room.
