Description
The week of September 28 to October 4, the city of Segovia will once again commemorate one of its most important events: the Proclamation of Isabella the Catholic as Queen of Castile on December 13, 1474 in the old Royal Church of St. Michael.
To do this, we will travel to the 15th century with various period activities and events, focusing on medieval music and dances.
The highlight of all the activities is the re-enactment of the Proclamation ceremony on the Cathedral's paved floor, which will take place on Saturday, October 3, a historical theatricalization with limited access in a privileged setting. On that day we will enjoy the arrival of the royal procession from its departure from the Royal Alcázar to the Main Square.
