In You’ll Understand When You’re Older!, Édouard Demanche takes the mic to talk to children aged 8 and up about what really concerns them: parents and their baffling sayings, school, friends, rules that make no sense, the little injustices of everyday life... and adults' habit of always having the last word.
For one hour, no magical set, no quirky characters talking down to kids: this is real stand-up. A mic, a comedian, some jokes, and above all a lot of interaction with the audience.
And what about the parents?
Well, adults might recognize their own phrases, their little contradictions... and sometimes even the children they once were.
A show to share together, where children finally have stand-up that speaks to them, and where parents have plenty of reasons to laugh too.
