La Scène Barbès is a renowned comedy club that has become an institution in Paris. The programming is demanding, inclusive, and strives for gender parity whenever possible. In a decor and atmosphere inspired by New York comedy clubs, our two flagship stages, Comedy Night and Nouvelle Vague, guarantee you a carefully curated, thoughtful, and meticulous lineup.
Here, no hat collections will be asked of you, and the price of your ticket includes professional and ethical remuneration for the artists. Coming to La Scène Barbès also means supporting the status of intermittent workers—thank you for that 👏. Only the artists performing in La Scène Ouverte on Sundays will be paid through a hat collection at the end of the show. Lastly, while many venues require you to buy a drink in addition to your ticket, here you decide; there is no obligation.
