Stefan Sagmeister is back at Gaîté Lyrique. Thirteen years after the smash hit of The Happy Show, the cult designer of Lou Reed, the Rolling Stones and Jay-Z's album covers returns with a totally new exhibition: Finally, Something Good. — meaning "Finally, some good news."

No magic talk here. More than 200 years of data about the world, remixed and reinterpreted, to show something we've kind of lost sight of: when we take the time to zoom out and look at the state of the world, when we lift our heads from the constant flow of our phones, humanity is moving forward.

The Gaîté Lyrique is transformed into a 12-chapter exhibition journey that even reaches the toilets—true story. From 18th-century classical paintings transformed by staggering figures to sculptures and immersive installations, this data-driven showcase lets you see the world from a fresh perspective. War and peace, life expectancy, democracy, food, self-love… Twelve pressing topics, twelve ways to regain momentum without turning a blind eye.

💬 SPOILER: it's not "everything is fine"
We won't lie to you: the world still faces significant challenges, and this exhibition doesn't ignore them. But Sagmeister shows, with numbers, that there are also many victories. Facing them head-on may be the best energy to keep fighting for the next ones. A joyful, clear-eyed experience to be enjoyed alone, with family or with friends.
