Venice. The carnival is in full swing.
Paco walks through the streets, drawn by music. A few notes of Vivaldi's Four Seasons resonate around him. That’s when he meets Élodie Fondacci, our storyteller. She tells him about Antonio Vivaldi, then offers him a story: that of a little girl from the Ospedale della Pietà, an orphanage turned music conservatoire where Vivaldi taught the violin.
As the story unfolds, the Four Seasons come to life.
The birds of Spring. The storm of Summer. The horns of Autumn. The wind of Winter.
Paco introduces children to classical music.
They are at the heart of the story, at the centre of the auditorium. The spatialised sound surrounds them. They can move. Draw closer to an instrument. Follow one player and then another. Listen to the orchestra from a fresh perspective.
The narrative, the music, the image and the light interact.
An original Alcôv production of the Four Seasons, created for little ones aged 3 and up, written and told by Élodie Fondacci and illustrated by Magali Le Huche.
