Description
Prepare to witness the living history of Western music. Cappella Musicale Pontificia Sistina crosses the oceans for an unprecedented performance at Sala São Paulo. With origins dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries, the famous Vatican choir has maintained its current form for the past 600 years, since the reorganization promoted by Pope Sixtus IV. It was in this cradle that universal and moving compositions were born, such as Allegri’s famous Miserere. This free concert takes on an even more special meaning for the Brazilian audience: the conducting and artistic direction are in the hands of Marcos Pavan, the first non-Italian maestro to hold this prestigious position in six centuries. A show of pure emotion, spirituality, and architectural and sonic beauty that will connect generations. Choose your seats and make your free reservation!
