Explore one of the few 16th-century factory buildings that has remained almost intact to this day. Located on the left bank of the Eresma River, the Real Casa de Moneda was designed by Juan de Herrera for Philip II, who established a mint here that introduced the innovative technique of roller minting to Spain. With your ticket, you can visit the Real Casa de Moneda Museum and learn about the history of coinage and life in this iconic factory.
