Description
Becquer y Quevedo, amor y muerte is a recital like no other you have ever heard. Pedro Casablanc has selected excerpts, poetry, and prose from both classic Spanish authors, which he reads and interprets. Casablanc is accompanied live by Jorge Rivera, who has created the soundscape and more than 20 original pieces, one for each excerpt that Casablanc will recite to the audience. The music blends influences from rock, traditional, classical, and electronic music in an eclectic expression that gives prominence to the spoken word at all times, reinforcing it through addition or contrast.
