Santiago de Chile will host one of the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers, also known as Premundial, the decisive stage that defines the last qualified teams for the next World Cup to be held in Belgium and the Netherlands in August 2026.

Description:
Between March 1 and 8, 2026, the Chilean capital will bring together top teams in a tournament of high performance, emotion, and international competition where every match is crucial. In this qualifying tournament, eight women's teams and eight men's teams will compete for one of three direct spots in the planetary top event. The teams finishing first, second and third will secure direct qualification (the fourth could do so if it has a better ranking than the fourth-placed team in the parallel premundial).
