Our Environmental Commitment
At the Water Lantern Festival, our mission is to leave every venue more beautiful than we found it. Following our "Leave No Trace" philosophy, we retrieve every single lantern at the end of the event and clean up any pre-existing debris from the water's surface. Our lanterns are 100% sustainable: made from biodegradable rice paper with a wooden base, they use LED candles that are recovered and recycled to minimize environmental impact.
Help us protect nature! To make this event truly sustainable, we also need your support:
-
Use the recycling points for your personal waste.
-
Make sure not to leave any trash in green areas or near the water
