Description

The Helios Gospel choir, conducted by Dominique Magloire, Offers an extraordinary performance exploring the different types of gospel. It performs in the prestigious Parisian churches of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, la Madeleine and Saint-Sulpice. 

On the programme, you will have the pleasure of hearing iconic gospel songs, such as "Oh Happy Day", "Amazing Grace" and "Oh When the Saints", performed by the best artists of the current French gospel scene.

Dominique Magloire developed her passion for music as a child by joining gospel choirs. She gained national and international recognition by participating in several musicals such as Gone with the Wind, Cleopatra and The Twist Years. Her reputation also earned her involvement in the Gospel for 100 Voices and Gospel on the Hill productions.

Dominique Magloire has also explored other forms of vocal art. She studied lyrical singing at the conservatory and won prizes in singing and chamber music. Thus, she had the opportunity to perform great classical works, such as Verdi's Traviata, Mozart's Requiem and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.

In 2012, she became a revelation on the TV show The Voice, performing songs by Johnny Hallyday. In 2015, she appeared in the musical Gospel on the Hill at the Folies Bergère. In 2019, she took part in the Together show hosted by Éric Antoine and Garou. She also appeared in the musical Menopause, written and directed by Alex Goude. In 2021, Dominique Magloire took part in the All Stars season of The Voice to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the programme. 

Thanks to her multiple experiences, she also serves as artistic director of "Gospel Helios", an ensemble dedicated to promoting gospel in the Parisian churches of Saint-Germain des Prés and la Madeleine.
