Description
Start your year with some quintessential British charm as Taste Film returns with one of its most-loved experiences: Bridget Jones’s Diary. We’ll be ringing in the new year at Parlour in Kensal Green, where the corners are cosy, the welcomes are warm, and the wine pairings are dangerously good.
What can you expect from us? Well, if you’re feeling those winter blues, it’s about to get a bit more blue (both literally and linguistically, our gal is a little bit naughty). We’re transforming the film that launched a thousand pairs of pants into a bespoke multi-course menu, where each scene is paired with a specially curated dish.
As the film unfolds, you’ll sip on marmalade margaritas, tuck into an elevated turkey curry (a real meat-cute), savour the ultimate profiteroles, enjoy a tart (with heart), and, of course, taste a blue leek soup for the cinephiles with impeccable taste.
After all, January is for fresh starts, big pants, and celebrating exactly who you are. Whether you’re out with your friends or your very own romantic lead, this is comforting cinema at its most delicious. Think roll necks, resolutions, and the joy of being perfectly, well, imperfect.
