In the Jardín del Príncipe stands the Casa del Labrador, a mansion built according to the wishes of King Charles IV, who wanted to build a "country house" at his residence in Aranjuez, where he would spend the spring each year with his royal court. It is an architectural and decorative masterpiece. For this reason, the royal coat of arms, which adorns the façade, has an inscription commemorating his reign.
