Description
We begin the final stage of the Camino, departing from the La Vega sports complex and entering the surrounding pine forests. In the distance, the town of Cantalejo comes into view—a prominent regional hub. As we pass through Cantalejo, we’ll see the town hall and the parish church, a designated Site of Cultural Interest. Exiting the town via the El Hoyal complex, we follow a road that leads us to Sebúlcor, a picturesque Segovian village and the gateway to the Hoces del Duratón Natural Park. From Sebúlcor, we continue on to the deserted village of San Miguel de Neguera—marking the beginning of the final stretch. Immersed in the heart of the Hoces del Duratón, we follow the riverbed trail through breathtaking natural surroundings. Our journey concludes at Villaseca, and at last, we reach the destination of the Camino: the Hermitage of San Frutos, in the municipality of Carrascal del Río. Happy walking!
