Description
Woman Experiences presents "The Intimate Side Never Before Seen of Frida Kahlo", a unique experience that comes to Madrid to discover the Mexican artist from an unprecedented and profound perspective. This immersive tour, in collaboration with UN Women and authorized by Banco de México, invites visitors to explore the life, art and emotions of Frida Kahlo through three rooms that reveal unknown facets of her personality and legacy. Frida Kahlo Woman Experiences seeks to recognize female figures who throughout history have stood out and fought for different causes. The objective is to get to know them through art, immersive shows, artistic performances and music. For this project they have worked with the United Nations, specifically for Sustainable Development Goal 5, Gender Equality. Frida is an example of self-improvement and struggle in a time when it seemed impossible to be a recognized painter, where wearing pants was a reason for controversy and where a woman was questioned for her way of life. She dreamed and succeeded in becoming a widely known painter, to this day and all over the world. In addition, if you choose the Live Art + Gastronomic Showcase experience, you will be able to enjoy an exclusive gastronomic experience, which highlights the authentic flavors of Mexican cuisine and is based on the wedding dinner of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. The five courses of this carefully designed tasting menu will offer a journey through Mexico's rich culinary tradition, accompanied by a tasting of tequila and mezcal, the country's most representative beverages. All this in a lively atmosphere with live music, which completes the vibrant and unique atmosphere of the night.
