This tour will begin with the oldest conserved work of the old cathedral, the Pantocrator and Calvary from the 13th century, advancing in a timeline through Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassicism, all present in chapels and selected works, many thanks to the mentioned patronage and sponsorship. It is often unknown that the cathedral chapters offered the foundation of chapels to prominent figures, clergy, and noble families for their burial and that of their relatives. In exchange, they would decorate them, spending large sums of money by hiring the best painters, sculptors, carvers, blacksmiths, and others. Although everything depended on the economic potential of the founder.
