PROMPTITUDE by Jean-Michel Jarre
Wednesday through Sunday - June 4 to September 7, 2025
Gallery
Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre is coming to Milan as a contemporary artist with Promptitude, his first visual arts exhibition, which the artist wanted to organize at the MEET Digital Culture Center. The artist has devised short poetic texts that AI translates into images of hybrid creatures, suspended between the human and mechanical worlds: these beings live in a liminal space, embodying tension and harmony between human creativity and algorithmic computation.

RENAISSANCE DREAMS by Refik Anadol
Every Tuesday - permanent opera
Immersive Room
Renowned Turkish media artist Refik Anadol, who first exhibited in Italy at MEET in 2020, created specifically for MEET's Immersive Room Renaissance Dreams, the site-specific work generated through artificial intelligence. An immense dataset consisting of images and texts, produced between 1300 and 1600 in Italy, processed and revisited by algorithms that change shapes, colors and create original sounds.

THE GOLDEN KEY by Matthew Niederhauser and Marc Da Costa
Wednesday through Sunday - until august 31, 2025
Immersive Room
The work The Golden Key takes shape as a speculative storytelling act set in a future marked by the ravages of climate change. In this scenario, participants are asked to interact with two computer consoles located in the center of an immersive space dominated by three large screens. Through words, emotions, twists and personal suggestions, the audience actively contributes to the construction of an ever-evolving mythic tale, generated in real time by an artificial intelligence trained on tens of thousands of fairy tales and folk legends from around the world.

Highlights

🌟 Renaissance Dreams is a hypnotic walk through MEET's immersive hall on the traces of Italian art history: images from the Renaissance art corpus flow before the viewer's eyes, leaving the impression of a beautiful daydream.
🌟Promptitude presents the idea that the prompt-the brief instruction given to the AI-is the equivalent of a haiku in poetry: a minimal unit of meaning, charged with evocation and suggestion. Further enriching the exhibition experience, the exhibition also includes EŌN, a generative sound creation made by Jarre himself.
🌟The Golden Key is presented as a dynamic and participatory environment, capable of seamlessly integrating human input and algorithmic responses. Each interaction with the machine activates an open visual and aural narrative that reinvents the myths of the past in a contemporary key.

💥The MEET Digital Culture Center
MEET Digital Culture Center is the first International Center for Digital Art and Culture in Italy. Established in Milan in 2018 with the support of Fondazione Cariplo and founded by Maria Grazia Mattei, MEET is a very special activator of design and processuality that will formally open to the public in October 2020 with the aim of helping to bridge the Italian digital divide by promoting international-style initiatives in immersive spaces that help define the technological scenario in which MEET moves.

Believing that innovation is a cultural fact, even before it is a technological one, and that the spread of digital culture fosters the growth of the economy and opportunities and well-being for all citizens, MEET explores and recounts people, languages, creative ideas and innovative projects through a schedule of initiatives such as meetings, exhibitions, educational experiences, performances and experiences that bring people back to the center of technological change.

Every saturday and Sunday, MEET offers visitors the opportunity to explore its extensive catalog of Virtual Reality content, with several offerings to choose from based on their interests and preferences.
