Description
A walk through the narrow and winding streets of the ancient Hebrew quarter where you will be immersed into Segovia’s rich Jewish cultural heritage, an essential element to understand the city’s past. The itinerary will take you through the alleys of the old Jewish quarter, and include a visit to the Educational Center, located in the former home of Abraham Seneor. Here, through information panels and multimedia resources, you can learn how the Jewish community lived in Segovia. Additionally, you will take a stroll down the streets of Santa Ana, Refitolería, Almuzara, Judería Nueva and Plaza del Socorro, among others, where you can enjoy breathtaking sights from the Gate of St. Andrew, which offers an exceptional view of the Old Jewish Cemetery, where human-shaped graves and burial chambers excavated in the rock are still preserved.
