The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is the world’s premier institution devoted to exploring the art and science of movies and moviemaking. Visitors to the museum experience the magic of cinema through the lens of those who participate in the creative, collaborative process of filmmaking. Inside, the museum collection includes some of the most iconic and timeless movie memorabilia in history. See the Rosebud sled from Citizen Kane, Dorothy’s ruby red slippers, robot pals R2-D2, and C-3PO, and the Dude’s majestic robe from The Big Lebowski, just to name a few.
