Description
This winter, Spotlight Chamber Concerts returns to the "beautifully restored church of St John’s Waterloo" (Observer). Founded in 2020 by clarinettist Anthony Friend in response to the pandemic, this small newcomer to London’s concert scene is now in its fifth edition and has a loyal following amongst artists and audiences. In this final concert of the Winter 2023 series, the Solem Quartet return to the stage with Beethoven’s sublime Quartet in A minor, Op. 132 and give the London premiere of a new quartet based on the Beethoven, Devotions by composer Edmund Finnis.
