User reviews
- I saw the Sistine Chapel in Rome this past summer so it was really fun to see all the panels "up close and personal". You don't appreciate all the detail until you can see it enlarged, and without having to look up! A great experience for anyone who appreciates Michelangelo's works.
- We attended at the end of the day and had the exhibit to ourselves. It was clean and well-lit. The audio app was so informative. Beautiful exhibit!
- Enjoyed the setting...the reflections on the tile and mirrors enhanced the experience.
- The Sistine Chapel exhibit allows you to see all of the incredible detail and color of the ceiling frescoes, up close. The exhibit is so well done and well laid out. We loved it!
- It was the exact right amount of information and time with the recorded synopsis! Informative but interesting! I was also impressed that logistics were so well laid out and access to the QR codes made it easy! I can appreciate all the details and the show was so well executed!
- Enjoyed seeing the individual bible stories come to life and imagine what it must have been like to create these frescoes and also see them in an era without TV or other media. Enjoyed the narration in the app. Was confused because it wasn't clear if there was an order to view the exhibit.
- I loved how it was set up like a gallery. It was calm, easy to follow and I really enjoyed the app that accompanied the exhibit. It would’ve been cool to have a coloring book to purchase next time. Looking forward to the next!
- For the Seattle exhibit, parking was difficult, and actually finding the exhibit itself was also challenging. The exhibit itself was very informative and beautiful to look at.
- An outstanding opportunity to see the works of Michaelangelo. I do not doubt seeing the work in-person would be a moving experience, but I don't think that I will be able to do so. This was a chance to linger, contemplate, and marvel. The audio commentaries were most helpful for deepening my appreciation.
- Excellent- makes me want to see all of it!
- Only thing better would be the real thing
- Well done! We will go to Italy next time to see the real thing.
- Having seen the Sistine Chapel in Rome, I enjoyed this version where I didn't have to crane my neck to see the paintings. It was helpful to have a description to read or listen to from the QR code. I got a lot of information and enjoyment from this exhibit. Too bad the air conditioning was not working while we were there, but that's the venue, not the exhibit.
- The exhibit and staff were wonderful. The SEE audio app worked great. Parking in the Bravern garage and getting to the exhibit from there was very confusing. Nice that the parking was validated! The booklet is beautiful.
- Enjoyed it very much. Michelangelo was genius so though I saw The Sistine Chapel in person 50 years ago, I very much appreciated the audio explanations as reminders of what we were seeing.
