L'Associazione Portoghese del Manitoba, fondata nel 1966 a Winnipeg, è la più antica organizzazione della comunità portoghese del Canada centrale. Promuove il patrimonio culturale attraverso eventi, danze popolari, calcio e una scuola di lingua.
