Congress Column
The Congress Column is a historical monument in Brussels, built between 1850 and 1859 to commemorate the creation of the Belgian Constitution by the national congress of 1830-1831. Inspired by Trajan's Column in Rome, it is topped with a statue of King Leopold I and surrounded by lion statues. It is a must-see for history buffs and enthusiasts of historical monuments.
