For those who prefer to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Saguenay National Park at a leisurely pace, this tour is for you! From La Baie Pier, guests can get to the Saguenay National Park Interpretive Center in 60 minutes. After your introduction to the park, you will join your guide for a walk or you will have 3 options of walking, 30 minutes, one-hour and one-hour and a half along the paths of the Meandres and the Falaises. You will discover the creation and characteristics of the fjord. Due to glacial periods on the earth millions of years ago, you will learn the answers to questions such as: What is a fjord? How was he trained? What species can be regularly observed in the park? You'll have time to explore the interpretive center thoroughly as it reveals the hidden mysteries of this unique ecosystem.

Theme: La Baie (heritage sector) - A business town. Commentated tour of *workman's road* and the high-end executive neighbourhood remaining from the defunct Consolidated Bathurst. Discover the different styles of architecture and learn how the city of Saguenay developped / Theme: History and Heritage. Visit the cradle of colonization of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and the memorial sites: Monument des 21, the Ha! Ha! Pyramid and different museums . Here our guide will tell you all about the history of colonization and many more interesting facts.

A hike in the Saguenay National Park at a leisurely pace, this tour is for you! From La Baie Pier, guests can visit the Saguenay National Park Interpretive Center in 60 minutes by minibus. After your introduction to the park, you will join your guide for an easy one-hour hike along the Meandres des Falaises trail. You will discover the creation and characteristics of the fjord. Because of its magnificent geography due to a 15 billion tonne meteorite that fell on the earth 350 million years ago, you will learn the answers to questions such as: What is a fjord? How was he trained? Why are the waters of the Saguenay River so dark and salty? Is it sand dunes or sea terraces? What species can be regularly observed in the park? What are the habits of the St. Lawrence beluga? You will have time to fully explore the Interpretation Center as it reveals the hidden mysteries of this unique ecosystem or the trendy gift shop.
