Description
When King George II first heard Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, it's said that he jumped to his feet in excitement. But if "Hallelujah!" is all you know of Handel's Messiah, youβre in for a glorious surprise, because every note is just as inspired! Not so much an oratorio - more a national institution - this is simply some of the most uplifting music ever written. The ECO's Advent Sunday performances at Cadogan Hall have become something of a seasonal tradition; join them to celebrate all the melody and majesty of Handel's timeless classic!
