Seeing Music. How Great Photographers Have Interpreted the World of Music. Lectio by Marianna Santoni (January 15, 6:00 PM)
Marianna Santoni, photographer, author, and one of the most awarded digital imaging experts in the world, a reference point in image culture for over twenty years, will explore the ways in which photography has interpreted music, its protagonists, and its events. Not only concerts and portraits, but projects in which great authors have transformed music into visual storytelling through personal sensibilities, unexpected points of view, and framings often far from the most conventional representations. A journey to discover how much the story of an artist, a concert, or an entire musical universe can change when what changes, first and foremost, is the gaze of the person behind the camera.
