Enjoy a lovely meal or afternoon tea and discover Britainβs own Sistine Chapel with a visit to The Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College. It is an epic masterpiece of Baroque art, set within 18 acres of beautiful riverside grounds and historic architecture designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Hands-on exhibits, expert talks, and multimedia guides will teach you everything about The Painted Hall's fascinating history, how it came to be a celebration of Britainβs naval power, and why it took Sir James Thornhill 19 years to complete.
