Explore Gloucester at your own pace
A city crowned by soaring spires and shadowed secrets, Gloucester's heart beats just beneath your feet-if you know where to listen. This self-guided audio tour lets you uncover the drama hiding in plain sight as you stroll through Kingsholm and beyond, from grand cathedrals to reborn city squares.
What made a nine-year-old boy's coronation at Gloucester Cathedral echo through centuries of royal intrigue? Why did bishops plot, vanish, and occasionally ride their bicycles straight into modern headlines? Could a lost fountain or an old cinema in Kings Square be the key to forgotten city scandals?
Follow winding paths between pillars, markets, and marbled halls. Hear whispers of rebellion, spectral monks, and days when crowds watched history unfold right here. Experience Gloucester as never before-up close, vivid, unpredictable.
