Description
Director Shane Meadowsβ sharply observed and already iconic coming-of-age story centres on a young boy growing up in the Midlands during the early 1980s, who enters into a world of skinheads and rudegirls. Meadows' film brilliantly evokes its period setting, proving so popular that it continued the story of its characters in a series of Channel 4 dramas. Stephen Graham, Vicky McClure and Jack OβConnell are just some of the cast members who went on to become major stars.
