In You'll Understand When You're Grown Up!, Édouard Demanche takes the mic to speak to kids aged 8 and up about what really concerns them: parents and their baffling phrases, school, friends, rules that make no sense, the little injustices of everyday life... and adults' endless need to have the last word.
For an hour, no magical set and no quirky characters talking down to kids—this is real stand-up. A mic, a comedian, jokes, and above all, plenty of interaction with the audience.
And what about the parents?
Well, adults are likely to recognize their own phrases, their little contradictions... and sometimes even the children they once were.
A show to share together, where kids finally get stand-up that speaks their language, and where parents have plenty of reasons to laugh too.

Adult Brunch:
A hot drink: coffee, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, or tea (cow's milk or oat milk)
A cold drink: lemonade, freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit, or a house cocktail sans alcohol
Homemade pastries: seed bread, baguette, rugelach, mouna with orange blossom, served with spread, seasonal jam, and organic butter
Savory plate of your choice: Breakfast Croissant (gravlax salmon, avocado, soft-boiled egg, feta cream), served with homemade fries or salad, or Shakshuka (peppers, tomatoes, egg, feta, pesto) with halah toast sticks topped with zaatar
Sweet plate of your choice: L'Ensoleillé (honey-orange sponge cake, strawberries, orange blossom whipped cream, pistachios) or Banana Granola (roasted bananas, cream cheese yogurt, date caramel, granola, chocolate)
Kids' Brunch:
Crispy homemade chicken tenders and homemade fries
Dessert of your choice: Ben & Jerry’s ice cream or a serving of fresh strawberries with whipped cream
Cold drink
Everything is homemade, with organic or artisanal ingredients.
