¡México-México-México! Abel Quezada between Art and Sport
On the occasion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this exhibition brings together cartoons, paintings, watercolors, and archival material by Abel Quezada, one of Mexico's great visual chroniclers. Through this selection, the exhibition reveals how sport inspired his critical, ironic, and deeply human perspective.
From soccer to baseball, from boxing to tennis, the exhibition explores the passion, humor, and contradictions that permeate Mexican culture, offering a journey through the work of an artist who turned sport into a way of understanding the country.
