Why this event is for you
The Disgusting Food Museum is a grand celebration of food from a whole host of cultures. Different food from around the globe will be highlighted so you can experience weird eats from around the world! The Disgusting Food Museum will treat its visitors to 80 worldwide delicacies. How do Frog smoothies from Peru sound? What about Maggot cheese from Sardinia or the notoriously smelly fruit, the Durian, from Thailand? Youโll be able to try Surstrรถmming, the infamous putrid sea herring dish from Sweden and Mouse Wine - drowned baby mice in rice wine from China! Foodies, travellers, and the just plain curious can explore unfamiliar food creations, smell new and face-cringing aromas and take selfies - amazing and bizarre Instagramable moments are endless at the internationally known museum. First displayed in Sweden, the collection of 100 plus foods was conceived and curated by psychologist and innovation researcher, Dr. Samuel West, well-known as โDr. Failureโ after the runaway success of his Museum of Failure. Dr. West wanted to create an exhibit focused on exploring the shared human experience of disgust!
